Legal Question in Employment Law in India

In a builder's fraud, about 18 officers have been issued show cause notices for various omissions. One Divisional Manager and one Asst Manager were suspended and charge sheeted initially. One Branch Manager who had major involvement in this deal retired while this process was on ad the bank has not touched him. Out of remaining officers, only two more were charge sheeted. One officer who was found involved with the builder and confirmed graft allegation was tactfully removed by completing his inquiry. I am a subsequent branch manager who joined at the later and in fact responsible for breaking this builder issue and brought to light. Due to issual of some NOCs i have been show caused and subsequently charge sheeted. In reply to the bank i demanded that the other 15 officers including the one retired should be charge sheeted. But bank has not proceeded due to union protection to them. I am sure that my error is not that big enough to charge sheet and the bank could have excused since they are aware of my honesty, commitment and also the good work done. Can i demand that all others be brought into enquiry through charge sheet to bring out the truth and is it legally acceptable.?

You have not mentioned whether any criminal case is pending. Why you are not approaching Union? Petition them and await their response. That should ghive more clarity.

However, without reading the entire chargesheet it is not possible to say whether one can challenge the same. The only course would be to reply it on merits and attempt to get a favorable order in enquiry.
