cheque bounce & employement breach of contract

I joined a company, gave 4 yrs bond on which it is written that on breach of contract i have to pay 4 lakhs compensation to the company. i also gave a cheque with my signature without keeping any date on it at the time of joining company.

i worked for 9 months. now the company sent me the termination notice and asking me to pay the compensation of 4 lakhs. i havent accepted the termination notice, because i dint resign or quit.

Now im afraid as to how they will proceed further and wat i should do..

Please check the terms of your employment. Also mention the facts in detail with regard to the company's grounds for your termination. No organisation can do such arbitrary thing and if it does then it is not legally valid. To ensure this, please check and confirm what stand the company is taking against you.
