I got a cheque for my salary dues when I resigned. now when the company did a stop payment. Need help

immediately issue a legal notice as it is offense as per NI act. you can get relief provided it is in limitation. you can contact your local lawyer for further help.

Issue a notice under sec.138 of the Negotiable instruments Act through an Advocate. If the limitation period is over represent the cheque and then issue notice.It may help you getting your dues from the company.
