Legal Question in Employment Law in India
Company declining to give any docments that proves I have resigned
I recently resigned from my company which is a MNC and consulting firm and I am working at client side now. Even though they allowed me to leave after 1 months notice period. THey are now saying that they wont give me any docments(relieving/exp letters) since I havent completed my probation period. Worst of all they are declining to sent me an acknowledgement of my resignation letter and wont sign my copy of resignation letter. They are not responding to any of my mails asking for the acknowledgement. When ever I call them they say that they could do nothing as that is the company policy. Will any law allow a company to make policies like this which will virtually ruin an employee's career. Please advice me on what can be done

Re: Company declining to give any docments that proves I have resigned
What harm has been done to you? You have resigned and that is the end of it. you do not need any document from the company.
As for acknowledgement, you may send them a registered letter and the postal receipt of is your acknowledgement.
