Legal Question in Employment Law in India
Dear Sir, I joined a company in 1999 Oct and Left them in Aug 2010, now in Nov 2010 when I approached them to clear my dues, they have told that I need to surrender mobile phone, the mobile phone is on my name and I have purchased the same in Nov 2003, the bills are paid by me , though I used to claim for official calls, Can company force me to give the number (registered on my name) to them

no, the company cannot unless there was a non-disclosure agreement providing for that
