Legal Question in Employment Law in India
Dear Sir
i had joined a company, i worked there for 2 years, they gave me an appointment letter 1 and half year later that too not in thier letter head and it says that i have to give three months notice if i quit and also complete the current project to be relived while it is one month notice if he terminates.
Now i got a new job . i have given my previous company only 15 days notice and will to pay three month salary if he gives me reliving letter to which they have not agreed and are not willing to relive me. what are my legal options and can my previous company do legally do anything legally

Your employer might demand compensation for your quitting job without proper notice as written in the conditions prior to appointment. The company which gave you the appt.letter would seek compensation and not the employer whom you are talking about.
