Legal Question in Employment Law in India

Dear Sir

This is Sharma working in a Logistics industry ( C&F)since two years as an accountant. One day a cash thef happen from my cup board through breaking cabin lock & cupboard lock. As there is no any type involment of me in this case. But I have been so much mentally and physically torchred by the police ( I think there is a politics palayed against me by the manageres)where is no any single proof against me. And now I am so afraid and mentally stressed. So please suggest what should I do ?

Dear Shri Sharma,

Let the Police do their work and conduct their investigation.

Since you are innocent, no harm of any nature can be done to you. Stay put with your job, and overlook office politics. There is no reason for you to be afraid and stressed, since the theft has not resulted from any wilful negligence on your part. Be bold and brave. Give your statement in writing to the Police whenever they ask you for it and just forget about it. Someday, the real thieves will surely be brought to book.
