on death duty compensation

Sir,

My Jija who was Sr. TEacher in an Private School in UP, in evening 9.pm while returning for School Jobs (to get letter sign from other techer) was shot dead in this april, his salary was Rs.7000/ PM and gross Rs.11500PM (includes, DA, HR, PF, FP etc.), he was teacher for last 11 years. at that time college admin, assured for compensation of Rs.10 Lacs (verbally) but now they denied all and only giving Rs.1.0 Lacs as compensation, he also denied graduty, death duty compensation etc. Please advise what is my right in this case, Since he was only sone, no one otehr member who can fight long courte case. Please inform our right. I shall be highly thankfull in this case. I am in Punjab, in Pb. they need to pay much but do not know rule of UP in this matter

You have every right to get adequate compensation.you have to write to education deptt.of UP and also case for damages at the place where the school or registered office of school if it is run by any society at UP.

you inform the education the department of Uttar Pradesh and getting an adequate compensation yes you can get it
