Legal Question in Employment Law in India
Defence Services
I am a Non commissioned Officer in Indian Air Force. At the time of enrollment in Jan 04, a bond for 20 years was signed. Now I wanted to wuit the job due to some urgent personal/family commitments. But as per existing Air Force rules, I am not allowed to wuit before my bond period(20 years). Can I lodge a case against them & expect to win siting that one is not a bonded slave.

Re: Defence Services
The case you are contemplating may not be maintainable. A lot of money is spent by the government for training an employee. The bond is a compensation for the investment made in the employee. The system is the same almost everywhere including USA.
