Legal Question in Employment Law in India
I have already deposited my cheque in my a/c & till date no amount is credited in my a/c. What legal step I can do against them. Because if they don't want to give any salary then why they had given me that cheque. Its a request please give me reply as soon as possible.

in case the cheque is dishonoured, you may initiate criminal action against your employer u/s 138 of negotiable instruments act.

Collect the intimation from your bank about the cheque being dishonoured and the reason for the same.Contact the local lawyer and issue a legal notice u/s 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act demanding the amount.
