Dear Sir / Madam,
Late sitting is a common practice in organizations these days. If the terms and conditions of work specify late sitting and if the work demands extra time, the lady will be required to sit late and complete the unfinished work beyond office hours.
No legal action recommended unless something untoward has happened. Normal late sitting is acceptable.
