My father was an employee with p&t audit works department.he died on 14may 2009 while he was on service.He had only 3 months for retiring.Me and my elder brother both are unemployed.My name is kept as nominee for compassionate appointment.We do not have any assets or immovable property in our name.Whats my chance of getting the job?Does the retirement benefits a hindrance for my job?What are the factors considered for granting compassionate appointment?We don't have any assets of our own..the only asset we possess is the retirement benefits acquired by us.It amounts to rs 12 lakhs.Is it a hindrance.The officials of my dad's office have sent report favoring us.Iam a graduate.I have the qualifications for the job.Will i get the job?What are my chances??

you need to furnish the NOC from your brother that he is not interested in the job and the same be given to you. you can check the departments's placement head and pursue him to get the job on compassionate grounds.
