Legal Question in Employment Law in India

my father had a farm where he had employed a man.

after his death in 2002, noone was employed and no salary to anyone was given as nobody workedmon the farm. the farm was then inherited by me and i have from 2002 to today, never given any payments ot assurances to anyone.

noe the old employeeof my father is demanding money stating that he has worked for me from 2002 till now and that salaryis to be paid by me,he has issued a notice from his lawyer.

i have already sold that farm in 2011.

how should i respond ?

what are the implications of this absurd claim?

this is sufficient to proove that you had already sold the farm in 2011 then how can he work there till now.

You must file a proper reply through your lawyer to the legal notice sent by him.
