Final Settlement not yet paid from my previous employer

Sir,

I have resigned 10 months back, as per company policy final settlement and releiving letter to be issued within 45 days from the date of exit. I have resigned in May 20th 2008. I have called several times and escalated the matter but no response from them. Could you please advise me on this.

File a case as per workman compensation act and seek for the arrears

You may consider approaching the civil court for appropriate declaration / directions.

I believe, you can write a legal notice to your employer providing him few days time to settle the matter. If the matter is not settle you can initiate legal proceedings against the employer
