Legal Question in Employment Law in India
We are in IT firm present in chennai and we have the option to work from home but the place of home should be 2 Hrs from office . When asked they said it is the state law . Can you please tell where can I find the laws regarding work from home option . I have friends in Banglore who are allowed to work from anywhere in India.

this work from home option is given by the IT company itself and is not done in accordance with any law that the workplace should be two hrs from office. there are IT employees who work for US companies but stay in India.
