Legal Question in Employment Law in India
Hello,
I have been working with a private firm head officed out of Delhi having a manpower size of more than 500. The guys are not paying my salary for last 3 months now. In fact, almost 80% of the people working here have not got their salaries. Our salary break up doesn't have a provision for PF as it should be as per the number of people employed.
I it is a full time job and my designation is of a Zonal Manager. I have a copy of the offer letter issued to me. They are not giving me any other conformation letter even after repeated follow ups.
As per my knowledge, these guys have not paid more than 150 guys their last month's salary after they have left the company.
Pls let me know what are the legal options available for me? Can I go for the law (civil) suit from the location I am in right now (Bangalore) or I'll have to go to Delhi for this?
An early revert is eagerly awaited.
Regards,
Aruni Panda

You may file a civil suit from the place where you are/were working.
