Legal Question in Employment Law in India
Hello,
My name is saurabh, my late uncle was employed in Cotton corporation of India (CCI) in punjab.
when he passed away 2 months back. They are survived by two daughters (both married) and one son (Unmarried) and wife (retired from state govt. job). The son holds MCA degree. Is he eligible to get a job on compassionate grounds. We have tried talking to the authorities , they say they can just offer a job on temporary grounds. Also there was no sure response about permanent position.
If my cousin is eligible , how should we proceed with the matter??? Also should he not be offered the same grade and pay as my uncle was working for ???
Thanks and regards,
Saurabh

Your cousin can enforce his claim through the court. However, the position offered need not be that of your uncle.
