Legal Question in Employment Law in India
Hi,
A France based company which has global presence has hired an employee there and after 5 years they plan to move that employee permanently to their India office. The employee takes the decision to relocate to India and after an year of service in India he quits the organisation.
Pls tell me do we payout gratuity to the employee considering his total tenure with the organisation as 6 yrs.

the laws regarding gratuity are different in both countries and the employee here cannot take the benefit of service in France.
