Hi,
How serious is a case of absconding? How can we find out if there is a case filed in Dubai?
I need a little help here and really quick please. A friend had worked in Dubai for a little under 5 years. He finally quit his job and the company had accepted his resignation and also paid him all his dues. It's been year since he left and returned to India. He however didn't cancel his visa. Now, a former coworker has told him that the company has filed a case of absconding and there might be some other legal charges as well.
What does he do? Can the company really file a case after they have accepted his resignation and paid his dues?? How serious is this case and how do we find out if there is in fact a case filed against him? We can't get in touch with this person who had informed him about this case. Will he be arrested?? PLEASE HELP!!
