Legal Question in Employment Law in India
Hi,
I own a manufacturing unit in Bangalore, India. I have taken labor on a contract basis from a local labor contractor. I recently got a notice from the inspector of factories that we have not provided the required facilities for the labor and charged the unit of various other violations. I want to clear the issue once for all by paying a fine or whatever is necessary. The violations have been taken note of and rectified. I am planning on selling the unit in a few month before which i would like to clear this case. I would like a solution to this.

Hi,
In the present situation you should go in for payment of the fines and penalties to the labour department. But in order to expidite the matter you would be requiring assistance of a consultant.
In order to advise you better it is advisable to show us the Notices received by you from the department so that the gravity of the matter may be understood.
