Legal Question in Employment Law in India

Hi

I have been offered a job in the Indian company through campus placement. After joining the company, at the end of 1 month I was asked to sign the employment bond for 1 year. The bond agreement was not mentioned in offer letter. I had protested the move but I was threatened & was forced to sign the bond under tremendous social, financial disturbed situation.

The company did not paid salary on time & many a times, the salary cheque got bounced.

After 8 months, I have got opportunity in different company & left this company.

Please suggest what should I do, as company is forcing me to pay the bond amount.

Hi,

In this situation you have full right to leave the company. they can not force you to pay the bond amount.

If you have received any written notice from the co. to pay the amount , then you should send an reply to them.

Better to have a legal opinion and get the reply drafted through a lawyer.. u can deffinatly come out of this.

For any assistance you can calll us.
