Legal Question in Employment Law in India
Hi,
I am working with a bpo who has attendence software. it works on login and logout of the system . i was on leave for 6 days out of which the software has taken as missing entry and the hr says you salary is on hold and will get it next month ... Is it legal to hold the salary of the existing employee?

Yes, the employer may hold on salary of an employee if he is a "suspect" for any offence/charge.
