Can jurisdiction clause in an agreement can be challenged especially where an arbitration clause is mentioned
I live in Chennai and I have some dispute with my ex-employer and i sent a legal notice via my lawyer and they returned and said we will go for arbitration and have not appointed an arbitrator till now ( 2 months crossed)
Can I approach court in chennai ?

If there is an arbitration clause in an agreement then in case of any dispute, first the arbitration clause must be invoked.
You can show us the arbitration clause in the agreement, then we will advise you better.
