Labour acts applicable to IT/ITES in Karnataka
I would like to know about rules applicable to IT/ITES in Karnataka:
1. The hours of work per day and per week.
2. Overtime in relation to normal wages.
3. Spread of working hours per day.
4. Whether Minimum Wages Act and Shops and Commercial Establishments Act is applicable and the exemptions available for IT/ITES sector.
5. Number of weekly offs, paid leave, leave with pay, casual leave, sick leave and national holidays for IT/ITES.

central Labour Act is same as applicable on centre but only state ammendment is made by state concern. so consult bare Act or commentary on labour law with state ammendment.
