Right of livelihood

Human rights violation(livelihood snatched away)

Dear Learned attorneys!

My bread-winning Land has been acquired by the government for a public cause(road laying purpose). The government promised me employment as compensation(relavant documents available). As I am qualified with M.A.(english)B.Ed I applied for the direct post of an english teacher.

The Government conducted competitive examinations for the recruitment of teachers and selected other non-priority applicants who are relatively non-experienced.

Now I am without job and suffering so much and languishing in poverty in joint family.

Kindly inform me if I could get employment as was promised by the Government. I may please be informed with the merits of my contention.

Firstly, you have to understand that teacher's have to undergo competitive examinations, and just because you are promised compensation in the form of employment, does not automatically qualify you for the job. I would suggest that you pursue the compensation due to you for your land in the form of monetary benefits, the fact that you still eligible for it. If you are not entertained by the govt., you can go ahead and file a writ petition in the concerned High Court of your state, to claim your rights.
