Legal Question in Employment Law in India

misconduct

I caught my junior stealing guest liquor and i reported the matter to the General Manager.

The GM issued him a show cause notice to my junior.

The juniour in his reply stated that he stoled the guest liquor as i had told him to do so. He further said that i wanted this liquor for my out door party.

I have not told him anything. He is telling lies.

The General Manager has issued me a showcause notice based on my junior's reply.

Kindly let me know what reply i should give.

Awaiting for your earliest reply.

Thanks.

Re: misconduct

You may send a reply based upon facts; if the allegation is false, you may state so in your reply; his motive to make a false statement is to escape his own liability at your cost; this motive may be valid defence for you.
