Legal Question in Employment Law in India
Help needed under Bombay shops & estd. Act, 1948
I'm an HR with an MNC IT firm, thats registered under Bombay Shops & Estd. Act 1948. Acording to Labour Inspector We are suppose to keep our NAme Board in Marathi language & notice of Weekly closing day displayed in our Office premises.
Now my major concern are
Being an US based Org .
1.we want to display our Name Board in English.
2.We follow flexible working hours & has 2 shifts rotating, every one has got 2 weekly offs but our office is open on all days in a week, Then what does Notice of weekly Closing day means.
Please suggest the concept behind the same and kindly refer sections/ chapter/ case study that describes about IT firm under The Bombay Shops & establishment Act

first of all i am really sorry because it will be too lengthy if i describe it with chapter case study etc. i can suggest you to buy a copy of the said Act from law book stores!! so it would be much more specific if you ask a question pertaining to a law .. thanx
