Legal Question in Employment Law in India

My offer letter mentions notice period as 1 month. There is also another clause that says that the employee should follow all the company policies during his/her employment term. And also a clause that says the notice period mandated by the company need to be served or else relieving and experience letter will not be provided.

Now the company has informed me through mail saying my notice period has been changed to 3 month according to company's new policies. The HR as also said that the company has the right to change its policies.

Now can the company hold my relieving based on the condition that the newly mandated notice period is 3 months?

Can the company stop my relieving saying that I am not following company policies during my employment term?

Do i have to follow the 3 months notice as newly mentioned by the company or i need to follow only 1 month notice period?

no, you are bound by your original, first appointment letter showing the notice period to be one year. any such change is not welcomed retrospectively.
