Legal Question in Employment Law in India

I was offered by a company, In the offer letter they provided about the salary break up, designation and date of joioning and made lot of varbal committments and growth stories about the company.

Based on that I resigned from my current company and joined them. On the date of joining (as per offer letter) I come to know that they are in bad sape and incurring losses and non of their growth stories succeeded in the past.

In the appointment letter they put a clause of notice period of 3 months for employees and 1 (one) month for theirselves ( for Employer). There is no equal period of notice for employee and employer. Is it a valid clause of notice period and can I chalange it before the appropriate authorities and get compensatation for 3 months, if terminated. Please advise

even though the period mentioned is not equal, still u entered the contract of employment with your free will. you may not get the desired relief.
