who is the employer of the persons employed by the vendor? i.e. wat is the relation between the principal employer and the workers of the vendor?

in out sourcing like contract, the person employing - (contract holder of the work) is the employer. he is bound by all laws and rules as en employer of you.
there is as such no relationship between the person engaged in contract or subcontract with the principal employer. the principal employer is outsourcing/contracting other person on agreement to do certain work.
