Legal Question in Employment Law in India

Performance pay

Dear Sirs,

I was working for a private limited company in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. I resigned from the company in Jun 2007. my Cost to Company ( Salary ) was Rs 2,95,325/- this includes Performance pay of Rs 28,600/-. I was rated excellent in my performance for year 2006-07 as my rating was 96%. As such I am eligible for say Rs 27,170-. Now that I resigned from the service, the Company says that the employees who left the company will be eligible to receive only 80% of the Performance pay. This is unfair when I had put very good service during my tenure and am not able to get what I am supposed to..? Please advice what should I do and am I eligible to claim in a court of Law to get my full pay or any other mode. Request for a help.
