Legal Question in Employment Law in India
I am a Physics Teacher in a senior secondary school. My school follows central govt rules. I am serving in three months notice period. my notice period is till 28 feb 2013. Can I avail half pay leaves from feb 5 onward on medical ground during notice period?
Our School Accountant said you can avail half pay leave on medical ground by producing medical certificate from govt hospital. Is it a rule or he is just trying to be smart? Medical certificate from any recognised MBBS or MD will serve the purpose. Most of the people dont go to govt hospital.
Kindly advice.
