Legal Question in Employment Law in India

Previous employer not paying

My previous employer (Private limited company) is not clearing my salary dues. It is more than a month I have resigned. How can I get my dues? The company is still in business. There is definite income and instead of paying salary, the employer is using money for something else. The non-payment of salary is deliberate and intensional.

Re: Previous employer not paying

You may file a complaint with the "Payment of Wages Authority" of your area for recovery of salary dues. The PWA may be a part of the Labour Department of your State.

I suggest you should write a letter to the company and even if there is no response file a suit before the competent athority in consultation with a local lawyer.
