Provident fund

Dear Sir,

My age is 25. Recently i resigned my job as i suffered from poor health due to the night shift. Now i like to withdraw my PF amount. I need to know generally how one will receive the PF amount - whether the company credit it with salary(final settlement) or one has to receive it from the PF office. With in how many days on will receive the PF amount after submitting the withdrawal for?

It may not take long after formalities are completed. You may need to contact the PF Office for more information.

You would have to receive the money from the PF office. You can consult the HR of the company for the forms you may have to fill so that your old company can process the form with the PF authorities.

It may take about 3-4 months for PF office to remit your claim.
