Legal Question in Employment Law in India

Hello

one of the public service sector units in India with office in Bengaluru, offered an employment , after one year during confirmation timeframe, the HR folks questioned about the all the years of experience stated on resume in detail. The selected candidate actually has more years of experience than that is required for the job, now they are requesting for a particular previous employer to come in person and confirm the period of employment dates. Previous employer already has written to them confirming the employment dates. HR folks in the first place would have not hired if the minimum experience required was not possessed by the applicant, A kind of harrassment. Any thoughts how to pursue this or resolve this.

Thanks

Sudha

you have applied now if they did not give you appointment then you may sue them in court and they have to confirm you if your work is satisfatory and no other person is equivalant to you. or as per vacant seats available.

It is better to talk to HR people with a lawyer about the exact requirements. If that does not solve the problem, then issue a lawyer notice demanding the specific requirements of HR now when confirmation is due.
