Legal Question in Employment Law in India
My question is that i have 3 months relieving period in my company. if i want to be relieved 2 months early than how much money as a (notice pay) penalty i have to pay?
as per my company they told me to pay 1.5 times "2 months salary" to get early relieve by 2 months.
I have confusion about penalty, it should be 1 times "2 months salary" instead of 1.5 times.
and in my appointment letter there is no clear written about this 1.5 times notice pay.
so would you please help me regarding (1) 1.5 or 1 times salary as a penalty?

the company can only ask you for your two months salary if you being relieved 2 months prior to your notice period and cannot charge any penalty or 1.5 times the notice period. you may go through your appointment letter for more details.
