Legal Question in Employment Law in India
I quit two years back from an MNC(software company) before the closing period(2 years)of agreement. Now the company is claiming the amount Rs. 80,000(as per agreement: 50,000 plus tax for the last two years) through an arbitrator. Actually, I am not in the situation to pay that much money right now. Kindly let me know how should I react for this issue?

it is advisable to appear and show your helplessness to pay before the arbitrator and ask him to settle the matter.

Yes you should appear before arbitrator, and it is possible that you might have some clause in the employment agreement in your favour which may entitle you to contest.
