Legal Question in Employment Law in India

Regarding relieving from a company

Sir, I have applied for resignation on 27th August 2008, stating the last working date as 28th August 2008, but my resignation was not entertained and as per the initial offer agreement with the organisation I can either serve for 30 days after applying resignation or pay 1 month basic salary and get relieved immediately, I was ready to pay the 1 month basic pay and get relieved immediately, but they are not allowing me to move out before 30 days, All communications to my program manager and HR manager's are non responsive, please guide me through my next course of action.

You may send by registered post a Bank Draft for an amount equal to month's salary alongwith a cover letter to your employer and stop going. You will be deemed to have fulfilled the requirement under your contract.
