Legal Question in Employment Law in India
resignation
I am working with a private limited company in West Bengal. I do not have any written agreement/bond with the company to give any advance notice before leaving the job. Also the company has not given me any appointment/job offer letter till date.So if I resign without giving any advance notice, can the company take any legal step?

Re: resignation
No. However, in the best interest you should try to give some notice to the company.

Re: resignation
The legal action may depend upon contract between parties. If your employment agreement does not require any notice, you may be at liberty to leave without notice and no legal action should follow at least on this ground.
