i am a run away govt employee. i didn't turned up work for 13 years and now i am dismissed. i have a mortgage loan for rs1.6 lacs.i want to repay it. i need advice how to approach the dept.i am afraid to go in person.

There is nothing to be afraid. You may send the money by way of bank draft to the deptt and ask for account statement.

You may write a letter to the company and send it by Regd post showing your willingness to pay the loan and asking for the amount due.
