sacked while on maternity leave
Hello Sir
Can anyone please tell me what one can do if a company sacks you when you are on Maternity leave , not even completed 3 months
also working there from last 2.5 yrs as a permanent emply
please suggest as now i have a small 2.5months kid and dont have very less income from my husband

Your remedy may depend upon the contract of employment. If you are covered within the definition of a 'workan' under the Industrial Disputes Act, you may be entitled to remedies under labour laws and may seek reinstatement with full back wages. You may need to contact a local lawyer for appropriate opinion based on your documents.
