Legal Question in Employment Law in India

salary query.

i work at a private institute, who has employed me since 3 months now. during the month of APRIL, 2009,i requested our 'Center Head' for an hours leave on the 20th of April. i actually asked him if i could come in one hour late.Initially,he agreed, since i had 2go 2the University for urgent paperwork. Ten minutes later,I'm telephoned & told by the same person to not 2come 2the institute until &unless he gives me a call.3 days pass by & i tried calling him &messaging him with no answers or reply.after 5 days i receive a call asking me to meet him next week, which i did.He said he had 'suspended' me for one week, for asking 4 leave on such a short notice.i had only asked,if i could walk in an hour late, while they asked me not to come for one whole week!irrespective of the fact that all my colleagues were working that entire week & were paid for the same.i get 8000rs per month as salary. they marked that week as if i were on 'leave', thus without pay.i had initially taken 3 extra days of leave.1 day leave is casual each month. however, they deducted one weeks salary plus 3 days & then did not pay for the Easter holidays,of 4 days which all the staff received, except me.last month, my salary was only Rs 4,100. is it not discrimination?

Your problem does not warrant any legal remedy. There may not be an cause of action or discrimination involved which may entitle you to fight with your employer.
