Legal Question in Employment Law in India
Sick leaves and termination
I'm working for a central PSU in India. I fell sick while on leave and at home and had to remain on sick leaves for more than two months. I kept my department informed in writting. I presented certificate of fitness and proof of sickness when I returned. They are not allowing me to join. Can I be terminated on this ground? What may be the consequences and what should I do?

Re: Sick leaves and termination
Give them a written request to join service and in case of necessity send the request through registered post.Non joining of service is a good ground for termination.
