Sir, I want to know what is procedure to change the name or retain previous name which was used before marriage. as i m working in govt office, i have changed my name after marriage. but now i want to ratain my previous name which was used before marriage.
kindly sir guide me.

You can do the same by getting your changed name published in the Govt. Gazatte . You may contact the concerned department of your state, fill in the necessary form and pay the required fees. There after wait till the same is published. Then you can submit the copy of the said gazett to you department for making the necessary changes in your name.
