Legal Question in Employment Law in India

Hello sir,

I am sam and I am from hyderabad, in 2006 I joined a call centre in chennai, which had a contract stating that I cannot leave the organization during probation period (6-months). If at all I leave i need to pay Rs.27000 towards the training. But unfortunately I quit the organization without informing ( due to personal reasons), after one year I got a notice that i need to pay them the the amount with the required amount. I sent a notice to them stating medical reasons and there was no response from them for another one and half year. But recently i got another letter from them, stating that I have to appear in Lok Adalat and the amount value has risen to Rs.42,000. Please help me.

You can appear before lok adalat and it is a mutual court and decision will be taken only with your consent and if you will not be agreed then the case will be send to the court.

You can submit that you are still ready but company is not ready to allow you to join.
