sir i have signed a bond for a company for a period of 2.6 years on a condition that i will pay 1 lakh rupees if i will break the bond.. now its hardly 25 days i joined the company and i didnt receive any training from them. now i wanted to quit the company. i dont want any relieving letter or any work experience certificate from the company. i just want to get rid of my bond and the company . the company is forcing me to pay the money or they will take legal actions. please tell me what should i do now. am i eligible for prosecution ? and should i have to pay the bond amount. please reply me sir. i am very tensed.

Well, under the employment bonds if the company has not incurred any cost upon the employee i.e training then the employee is not bound to houner the bond. You have just worked for 25 days in the company. If you feel that they are not going to provide any training then you can leave the company by proper communication. They may initiate legal proceedings against you for recovery of the bond amount. If they do so then the issue of training shall be the probable defense in your favour.
