Legal Question in Employment Law in India
i am a software engg and right now i m working in a small it company.as i switched to this company my previous company had given me a post dated cheque of rupees 23000,21000 and 3500.i have submit this cheque bt it got bounced due to insufficient balance.i have sent a legal noptice to my director(previous company) but my notice has been returned back because he is out of india.i dont know what would i do now.plz suggest me next step.

Dear Sir / Madam,
Your previous company's Accounts Department may have issued you cheques towards your balance salary, gratuity and provident fund dues. Please verify with your bank again, whether all the three cheques have actually been returned unpaid, and ascertain the reasons for return of each of the cheques by the bank.
