Need your suggestion for the final salary settelment

My name is Chhaya I was placed in Hewlett Packard Company (Okhla Office) as a Customer Care Executive on Contract with you and worked there for 1 year and had been even relieved on 23 rd Sep 2006. But till now I haven't got my Salary and even no settlement has been done.I am calling /fallow up to Mafoi my consultancy from last 2 months & last evening I have received a call from mafoi that my final check is ready and I can collect it any time . My salary was 10,450 and I had worked for 23 days in Sep but when today I visited to mafoi for my final salary they have give me only 899Rs cheque for 21 days.& as per my appointment contract letter my contract is valid for one yrs from 12/09/05 to 11/09/06 and the contract will stand terminated automatically without any notice or communication to us ,unless mafoi will explicitly extended by us a letter in writing . I had give regination on 15 sep 06 and my last working day was 23 sep & my manager consider 8 days regination notice .

Pls suggest me what should I do? I am struggling for my on salary.infact the my hp manager is not with me bec�z she wants that I will do continue for 1more yrs .pls suggest should ?

dear chhaya,

in order to give appropriate openion the offer letter and contract if any is required to be seen.

in fact your company has adopted unfair means to put pressure on you.Stop running to your past office. you are entitled to pay for working periods.you are advised to consult a lawyer and sent them legal notice to the company.you can also file civil suit for recovery of ammount.
