Legal Question in Employment Law in India
My wife joined in Kerala Govt. Service as a Staff Nurse. During her probation period followed by prignancy & delivery she took Maternity leave + 45 days loss of pay leave in continuation. Normally the probation will finish during Nov 2009, after the compleetion of 2 years. But now as per the dept. head the probation will compleate only after the extion of 45 days. Can you please advice on the same?

First of all your service rules should be clear about the same and if not then as per my opinion, they r almost right, else everybody will took the pay leaves and complete their probation period, then how the senior will judge your compatability and effeciency etc.
