Legal Question in Employment Law in India

I worked in a company where the notice period after resigning was 3 months. However after talking with their VP HR i left the company after 35 days and he told that leaves will be adjusted for the further notice.

But now they have sent a letter at my home to join the company immediately otherwise they will take suitable action against me. Now i have replied the letter.

I want to know the maximum punishment for they can give me. In the appointment letter nothing is mentioned.

Please tell me what is law for this
